Rev. Eric Russell, along with his wife Elaine, has been pastor of Abundant Life since August of 1997. A former businessman, he sold his house and business in the summer of 1990 to attend Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri, earning a B.A. degree in Pastoral Ministry in the spring of 1993. In 1995 he graduated from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary with an M.A. in Theological Studies. While at Central Bible College Pastor Eric earned the following awards: Who's Who in American Colleges and Universities, National Dean's List, and The Honor Society For The American Association of Bible Colleges.

While at the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary he earned the Outstanding Student; Bible and Theology Department award.

Entering full-time ministry later in life has enabled Pastor Eric to bring a unique perspective and balance to his ministry here at Abundant Life. He is able to relate and bring solid biblical counsel in the various life situations that all of us face.

Elaine has a B.S. degree in Human Development from the University of Massachusetts. She has been involved in the teaching of children her whole professional career, and is in charge of the Children's Ministries at the church.
